• September 1980 - Incorporated

• 1994 - Selected as APWA "Consultant of the Year"

• 1996 - Won "Hawaii State Award of Excellence" (first and only small, private business to win)

• January 2001 - Begin construction management for the Keaiwa Stream Bridge (APWA National Project of the Year)

• 2008 - Bowers + Kubota moves to new headquarters building in Waipahu's Mill Town Center

Winners of the Hawai'i State 'Oihana Maika'i Award, which is based on the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality core principles.

Bowers + Kubota was founded in 1980 with the objective of providing planning, design, and construction management services for the development of airport-related facilities. Since it's founding, the company has grown progressively and services are now provided to a multitude of public and private clients throughout Hawai'i. The firm has completed major projects on all of the Hawaiian Islands, as well as throughout the Pacific Rim. In addition to the headquarters office on Oahu, Bowers + Kubota has offices on the islands of Hawai'i, Maui, Lanai, and Kauai.

Under the leadership of Brian Bowers and Dexter Kubota, we plan on continuing to provide our clients premier architectural and engineering services.
