Project Name:  Pacific Heights Water System, Part II

Project Owner:  City & County of Honolulu, Board of Water Supply

Project Location:  Honolulu, Hawai'i

Project Description:  Engineering design for the replacement of 6,650 linear feet of 12” and 8” water mains along Pacific Heights Road, Ahekolo Street, Booth Road, Laniloa Road, Pacific Heights Place, and Hiolani Place. Design included connecting to existing water mains, cutting and plugging of mains to be abandoned, the installation of new service laterals and meter boxes and the installation of new fire hydrants. The project design required multiple construction phases to ensure continued water supply and minimal disruption to traffic in an older neighborhood with steep and narrow streets.
